The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES SS5000-06-04 is a hex pipe coupling designed to connect two female NPTF threaded lines of different sizes. It accepts a 3/8-18 NPTF thread on one end and a 1/4-18 NPTF thread on the other, making it a reducing coupling for joining mismatched pipe runs. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, it withstands working pressures up to 5300 psi and operating temperatures up to 1000 degrees F. The hex body allows standard wrench engagement for a secure, leak-free makeup. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial service technicians install this fitting in high-pressure fluid and gas piping systems where corrosion resistance is required.

Installation Notes
