The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES DX5197 is a rear entry spray gun designed for professional pressure washing applications. It accepts a 3/8 inch x M22 inlet connection and delivers a flow rate of 10.5 gallons per minute (GPM) at a rated working pressure of 5000 psi. The integrated 12 inch extension keeps the operator's hands away from the spray nozzle and provides added reach when working on vehicles, equipment, building exteriors, and flatwork. With a maximum temperature rating of 300 degrees F, this gun is compatible with hot-water pressure washer systems commonly used in commercial and industrial cleaning. Pressure washing contractors and service technicians are the primary users of this tool.
The DX5197 is suited for commercial and industrial pressure washing tasks where high flow and high pressure are required. The rear entry design routes the inlet hose connection to the back of the gun body, which improves ergonomics and reduces hose interference during operation. Typical applications include surface cleaning, equipment degreasing, vehicle washing, and building exterior maintenance. The 12 inch extension is pre-attached and works with standard pressure washer nozzle tips at the output end. This gun is appropriate for use on gas or electric pressure washers rated up to 5000 psi.
Designed for use with commercial and industrial pressure washers equipped with a 3/8 inch x M22 hose connection rated at or below 5000 psi and 300 degrees F.
Installation is typically performed by pressure washing equipment technicians or experienced service professionals. Before connecting or disconnecting the spray gun, relieve all pressure from the system and shut off the water supply. Verify that the pressure washer output rating does not exceed the gun's rated 5000 psi working pressure or 300 degrees F temperature limit. Inspect the M22 connection threads and internal seals for wear before placing the gun into service.
