The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES CNT-600CS-SP is a heavy-duty Crimplok combination nipple designed for secure hose-to-pipe connections in industrial and commercial fluid transfer applications. One end features a 6-inch Male Iron Pipe (MIP) threaded connection with a 3/4-22 thread specification, while the opposite end is a 6-inch barbed fitting engineered for use with Crimplok sleeves. Constructed from plated steel, this fitting delivers the mechanical strength required for high-demand hose assembly work. It is sized and configured for use specifically with CRIMPLOK Sleeves (CSL-XXXXX-SP). Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and fluid system technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This combination nipple is intended for hose fitting assemblies in industrial plumbing and fluid transfer systems. The dual-connection design bridges threaded pipe connections to barbed hose ends, making it suitable for applications where a rigid NPT-threaded interface meets a flexible hose run. The Crimplok system is commonly found in commercial and industrial environments where crimped hose assemblies are preferred for reliability and leak resistance. The barbed end requires proper crimping with the compatible Crimplok sleeve to achieve a secure, pressure-rated assembly.
Designed for use with CRIMPLOK Sleeves CSL-XXXXX-SP. This fitting is part of the Crimplok Combination Nipples product line within the Male NPT Plated Steel category of hose fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter familiar with NPT-threaded fittings and crimped hose assemblies. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. The barbed end requires a compatible Crimplok crimping sleeve and proper crimping tool to achieve a secure connection - do not substitute with non-compatible sleeves or clamps. Follow applicable IPC and facility piping codes for thread sealant use on the MIP end.
