The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES CNT-600CR-SP is a Crimplok combination nipple designed for use in hose assembly applications requiring a secure, two-end connection. One end features a 6-inch hose barb for attachment to compatible rubber or thermoplastic hose, while the other end terminates in a 6-inch male iron pipe (MIP) thread for connection to standard pipe or fitting threads. Constructed from plated steel, this fitting is built for durability in demanding fluid transfer service. Thread specification is 3/4-22. The fitting weighs 9.81 pounds and is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
This combination nipple is intended for use in industrial and commercial hose assembly work where a barb-to-male-pipe transition is required. It is compatible with CRIMPLOK ferrules in the CF-XXXXX-SP series and is suited for applications where crimped hose end assemblies are fabricated by hose distributors, fluid power shops, or maintenance technicians working with high-volume or high-pressure fluid transfer lines. Typical installation scenarios include hydraulic hose shops, industrial maintenance, and plumbing distribution systems.
Designed for use with CRIMPLOK ferrules CF-XXXXX-SP. This fitting is an OEM-style Crimplok combination nipple intended for fabricated hose assemblies requiring a hose barb to male NPT transition in plated steel.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hose assembly technician or journeyman pipefitter familiar with crimped hose end assembly procedures. Ensure the hose assembly system is fully depressurized and isolated from fluid supply before disassembly or fitting installation. Use a calibrated crimping machine appropriate for the ferrule series to achieve a proper crimp - do not substitute mechanical clamps for crimp ferrules in this application. Verify thread engagement on the MIP end meets applicable IPC or system piping specifications before returning the line to service.
