The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES BLAY-600-100CASS is a 6-inch nominal water discharge lay flat hose assembly built for high-volume fluid transfer applications. The hose features a PVC tube and PVC cover reinforced with woven high-tensile synthetic yarn, giving it the structural integrity needed to handle sustained discharge flows without kinking or collapsing when pressurized. Camlock (C/E) end fittings are factory-installed on both ends, allowing fast, tool-free connections on the job. The assembly is rated for temperatures from 15 degrees F to 130 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of seasonal field conditions. At 100 feet in length, it covers significant run distances without requiring additional couplings.
This hose assembly is used in water discharge and dewatering operations including construction site dewatering, agricultural irrigation transfer, flood control, and industrial fluid transfer. The lay flat design allows the hose to collapse flat when not pressurized, simplifying storage, transport, and deployment on large job sites. The blue color provides easy visual identification in multi-hose setups. The factory-attached camlock fittings make it ready to connect directly to pumps, tanks, or manifolds without additional field assembly.
Designed for use with standard camlock (C/E) fittings and compatible with pumps, tanks, and discharge manifolds accepting 6-inch camlock connections in water discharge and dewatering systems.
Installation and connection should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with fluid transfer hose assemblies and camlock coupling systems. Verify all camlock fittings are fully seated and locking arms are engaged before pressurizing the line. Do not exceed the rated operating temperature range, and inspect the hose for wear, abrasion, or damage before each use. Route the hose to avoid sharp bends, pinch points, and surfaces that could abrade the PVC cover during operation.
