The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 973206 is a natural-colored linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) tubing supplied in a 100-foot roll. With a 1/4-inch inner diameter and a 3/8-inch outer diameter, the wall thickness measures 1/16 inch. The tubing carries a working pressure rating of 150 psi and operates across a temperature range of -50 degrees F to 140 degrees F. Shore A hardness is rated at 98 and Shore D at 45D. Designed for fluid and pneumatic transfer lines, this tubing is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals wherever a flexible, lightweight low-pressure line is needed.
This tubing is suited for residential and light commercial applications including pneumatic control lines, low-pressure fluid transfer, and instrumentation runs. Its chemical resistance properties make it a practical choice in environments where exposure to mild solvents or corrosive media is a concern. The 100-foot roll length accommodates longer runs without inline splices, reducing potential leak points in the system.
Designed for use with barb-type, push-to-connect, or compression-style fittings sized for 1/4-inch ID tubing.
Cut tubing squarely with a sharp tubing cutter or razor blade to ensure a leak-free seat against fittings. Verify that fitting type and material are rated for the intended working pressure and fluid media before assembly. Power down or depressurize any line before disconnecting or splicing into an existing system. Follow applicable plumbing and mechanical codes for the jurisdiction where the tubing is installed.
