The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 95433 is a rubber-lined pipe clamp designed to secure round pipe and tubing in residential and commercial mechanical installations. The clamp features a steel body with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance and a rubber lining that cushions the pipe, reduces vibration transmission, and protects the pipe surface from abrasion. It accepts pipe up to 4 inches in diameter and mounts via a 3/8 inch hole. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters commonly install this type of hardware during system rough-in and service work.
This clamp is used in plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical piping applications where a secure, vibration-dampening mount is needed. The rubber lining makes it suitable for copper, steel, PVC, and similar round pipe materials. Typical installations include hanging horizontal pipe runs from structural members or strut channel using a 3/8 inch threaded rod or bolt.
Designed as an OEM-style mounting clamp for pipe and tubing up to 4 inches in diameter in plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical piping applications where a rubber-lined, 3/8 inch mount clamp is required.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC or IMC code requirements for pipe support spacing and hanger hardware. De-pressurize and drain the line before repositioning any existing pipe supports. Use a properly sized 3/8 inch bolt or threaded rod rated for the load. Confirm the rubber lining is seated evenly around the pipe before tightening to avoid uneven clamping force.
