The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 923216 is a stainless steel ball cock connector designed to supply water to toilet fill valves in residential and commercial plumbing installations. It connects a 3/8-inch compression fitting on the supply side to a 7/8-inch ballcock fitting at the toilet tank. At 16 inches in length, it provides enough reach for standard rough-in installations. Heavy-duty brass inserts reinforce both ends, reducing the risk of connection failure under pressure. This connector is lead free, meeting current plumbing code requirements for potable water supply lines.
This connector is used in residential and light commercial toilet installations where a flexible stainless steel supply line is required between the shut-off valve and the fill valve. It suits new installations and direct replacement of aging or corroded supply lines. The 3/8-inch compression inlet fits the most common angle stop valves, and the 7/8-inch ballcock outlet is standard for most toilet fill valves. Plumbers and plumbing contractors are the primary installers, though experienced DIYers handle this repair routinely.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement supply connector for residential and commercial toilet fill valve installations using a 3/8-inch compression angle stop and a 7/8-inch ballcock inlet.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson. Shut off the water supply at the angle stop valve and flush the toilet to relieve line pressure before disconnecting any fittings. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then snug with an adjustable wrench - do not overtighten stainless braided connectors, as excessive force can damage the brass inserts or compression ferrule. Verify there are no kinks in the line after installation and check both connections for leaks after restoring water pressure.
