The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 90075 is a worm-drive hose clamp built for secure, leak-resistant connections on hose assemblies in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping applications. Constructed from 316 stainless steel, this clamp delivers strong corrosion resistance in wet, chemical-exposure, and outdoor environments where lower-grade hardware fails prematurely. The worm-drive band mechanism allows precise torque-controlled tightening without requiring special tooling. Nominal clamp diameter is 2-5/16 inches, with a minimum clamp diameter of 2-5/16 inches and a maximum clamp diameter of 3 inches. At 0.08 pounds, it is a lightweight but durable fastening solution suited for trade professionals and experienced installers working on fluid transfer, coolant, and ventilation systems.
The 90075 is suited for residential and light commercial installations where hose-to-fitting connections require a reliable, adjustable clamp. Common applications include securing radiator hoses, HVAC condensate drain lines, water supply hoses, pool and spa plumbing connections, and similar soft-hose assemblies. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it especially appropriate in marine, coastal, and chemical environments where 304 stainless may not provide adequate corrosion resistance. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pool service professionals will find this clamp appropriate for a broad range of hose diameters within the specified range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install worm-drive hose clamp for hose assemblies with outside diameters falling between 2-5/16 inches and 3 inches across plumbing, HVAC, and pool service applications.
Installation requires only a flathead screwdriver or 5/16-inch hex nut driver to seat and tighten the worm-drive band. Shut off fluid flow and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any hose clamp. Do not overtighten the band on soft hose materials, as excessive torque can cut into the hose wall and cause failure at the connection point. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines when installing on fluid or gas-adjacent systems.
