The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 89075 is an embossed worm gear hose clamp built for secure, leak-resistant hose connections in plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical applications. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it resists corrosion in wet and moderately aggressive service environments. The clamp spans a minimum diameter of 2-5/16 inches to a maximum of 3 inches, making it well-suited for medium-bore hose connections. The non-perforated, lined band design distributes clamping force evenly, reducing the risk of hose damage during tightening. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this style of clamp where a reliable, adjustable connection is needed on rubber or silicone hose assemblies.
This clamp is used in residential and light commercial installations wherever a worm-drive hose clamp is required in the 2-5/16 inch to 3 inch range. Typical applications include radiator hose connections, HVAC condensate drain lines, plumbing supply connections, and similar hose-to-fitting joints. The 304 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for indoor and outdoor use where moisture exposure is a factor. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation worm gear hose clamp for medium-bore rubber and silicone hose connections in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical systems requiring a 2-5/16 inch to 3 inch clamp diameter.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanical contractors using a standard flat-blade or hex-drive screwdriver. Ensure the hose and fitting are clean and fully seated before tightening the clamp. Shut off water supply or system pressure before servicing any hose connection. Do not overtighten the worm gear screw, as excess torque can cut into the hose material and cause premature failure.
