The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 840325 is a stainless steel T-bolt hose clamp designed for secure, high-integrity connections on hoses and ductwork in demanding service environments. With a nominal clamp diameter of 3-5/16 inches and a minimum clamping diameter of 3-1/32 inches, this clamp delivers consistent radial clamping force around the full circumference of the hose. The self-locking design maintains torque retention under vibration, and the band thickness of 0.025 inches provides rigidity without excessive weight. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors install this clamp type across a range of fluid and air handling systems.
This T-bolt clamp is suited for air, oil, water, and other low-pressure fluid line connections, as well as engine air intake, exhaust, hose, and filter assemblies. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in wet, oily, or outdoor environments, making it appropriate for both residential and light commercial mechanical installations where standard worm-gear clamps lack the clamping force required by the application.
Designed for use with hose and ductwork connections handling air, oil, water, and other low-pressure fluid lines, including engine air intake, exhaust, hose assemblies, and filter connections. Fits hose and duct with an outside diameter between 3-1/32 inches and 3-5/16 inches.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or mechanical contractors using a torque wrench or nut driver sized to the T-bolt hardware. Depressurize and drain the line or duct before installing or replacing any clamp. Tighten to the rated torque value and inspect the seat of the clamp around the full circumference before returning the system to service. Do not exceed the rated torque, as overtightening can deform the hose or clamp band.
