The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 80602 is a liquid-filled pneumatic pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in compressed air and pneumatic systems. It features a 1.5-inch dial face with a measuring range of 0 to 30 psi and an accuracy rating of plus or minus 1.5 percent. The gauge uses a glycerin fill medium, which dampens needle vibration and protects internal components against shock and pulsation. The enclosure is constructed from 304 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system technicians install this gauge where a compact, readable, and durable pressure indicator is required.
The 80602 is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic applications where a small-format gauge is needed in a tight space. The lower-mount configuration positions the process connection at the bottom of the gauge, making it straightforward to install inline or on a manifold. With a 1/8-inch NPT lower connection, it fits standard pneumatic fittings and manifold ports commonly found in compressed air distribution, pressure testing setups, and pneumatic control circuits. The operating temperature range of -104 to 158 degrees F covers typical indoor and outdoor installation conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gauge for pneumatic systems using 1/8-inch NPT lower-mount connections with a 0 to 30 psi service range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic system service. Depressurize and isolate the system before installing or removing the gauge. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPT connection threads and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using a wrench on the gauge body hex, not on the dial housing. Verify the system pressure range does not exceed the gauge rated maximum before returning the system to service.
