The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 80033 is a standard dry pneumatic pressure gauge designed for monitoring compressed air and gas system pressure in industrial and trade applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial face with a 0 to 60 psi measuring range, providing clear, direct-read indication without the need for a liquid fill. The lower-mount 1/4-inch MNPT connection allows straightforward inline or manifold installation. The steel enclosure offers durability in typical shop and mechanical room environments. This gauge is installed by HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and pneumatic system specialists during system commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine pressure verification.
The 80033 is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic systems, compressed air lines, and general-purpose gas pressure monitoring where a compact, dry gauge is appropriate. Its 2.5-inch dial size makes it a practical fit for panel-mount or direct-pipe applications where readability and a small footprint are both required. The lower-mount connection orientation positions the dial face forward for easy reading on vertical pipe runs or manifold assemblies.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement or new-installation dry pressure gauge for pneumatic compressed air systems using 1/4-inch MNPT lower-mount connections with a 0 to 60 psi operating range.
Installation is performed by a licensed pipefitter, HVAC technician, or qualified pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any gauge. Apply thread sealant tape to male threads per standard practice, and do not overtighten - hand-snug plus a controlled turn with a wrench is sufficient to seat the connection without stressing the gauge body. Verify system pressure is within the 0 to 60 psi range before returning the system to service.
