The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 76094 is an aluminum pipe nipple designed for threaded pipe assemblies in plumbing, irrigation, and light industrial applications. It features male pipe thread (MPT) connections on both ends, with a 3/4-inch diameter and a 10-inch body length. The aluminum construction keeps weight low and offers natural corrosion resistance in non-ferrous compatible systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians use this nipple to extend or connect threaded pipe runs where weight savings or corrosion resistance is a priority over steel.
This nipple is suited for residential and light commercial installations where aluminum threaded fittings are acceptable per local code. Typical applications include compressed air distribution lines, irrigation manifolds, and general fluid transfer systems that do not require steel or brass construction. The 10-inch length covers common extension and stub-out scenarios without requiring field cutting or threading.
Designed as a standard-thread aluminum pipe nipple compatible with 3/4-inch MPT threaded fittings, valves, and pipe connections in systems approved for aluminum fitting use.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local and national plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope rated for use with aluminum threads. Avoid overtightening, as aluminum threads can strip or gall under excessive torque.
