The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 73360BM is a black polyurethane tubing rated for demanding pneumatic and fluid transfer applications. With an 11mm inner diameter, 16mm outer diameter, and 2.5mm wall thickness, it delivers a working pressure of 150 psi and a 28 inHg vacuum rating backed by a 3:1 safety factor. The tubing ships in a 100-meter coil, making it well-suited for installations requiring longer continuous runs without splices. Shore A 98 hardness gives the wall structure enough rigidity to resist kinking while remaining flexible enough to route around bends with a minimum bend radius of 30mm. HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and industrial maintenance trades are the primary users of this tubing.
This tubing is designed for use with push-to-connect fittings, barb-type fittings, and compression fittings, covering a broad range of connection styles found in pneumatic control lines, compressed air distribution, and light fluid transfer systems. It performs across a temperature range of -40 to 150 degrees F, making it suitable for both refrigerated environments and moderate-heat applications. The black color indicates UV-stabilized or carbon-loaded formulation common in outdoor and exposed-run installations. Resistance to abrasion, chemicals, cold, heat, and kinking makes it a reliable choice where tubing is routed through conduit, across equipment frames, or in areas with mechanical contact risk.
Designed for use with push-to-connect fittings, barb-type fittings, and compression fittings in pneumatic and fluid transfer systems operating within the rated pressure, vacuum, and temperature parameters of this tubing.
Cut tubing squarely with a dedicated tubing cutter or sharp blade to ensure a proper seal at push-to-connect and compression fittings - angled or ragged cuts are a common cause of fitting leaks. Depressurize and isolate any pneumatic or fluid circuit fully before removing or splicing existing tubing. Observe the 30mm minimum bend radius during routing to prevent wall collapse or flow restriction. Follow applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes and the fitting manufacturer instructions for insertion depth and retention force.
