The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 73341CU1 is a clear blue polyurethane tubing rated for demanding pneumatic and fluid-transfer applications. It measures 2.4mm inside diameter and 4mm outside diameter, with a 0.79mm wall thickness and a 6.35mm minimum bend radius. The 1000-foot coil length makes it well-suited for large installations or job-site stocking. Shore A hardness of 98 gives the tubing firm but flexible characteristics, resisting kinking under routed runs. A working pressure rating of 200 psi and a 3:1 safety factor provide the performance margin that trade professionals expect in compressed-air and light-fluid systems.
This tubing is commonly installed in compressed-air distribution lines, pneumatic control circuits, and instrumentation runs found in commercial and industrial facilities. It is also used in HVAC control systems, automated equipment, and fluid-transfer assemblies where flexibility, chemical resistance, and a long continuous run length are required. The clear blue color aids in visual line identification during installation and service. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical end users.
Designed for use with push-to-connect fittings, barb-type fittings, and compression fittings. The 4mm outside diameter and 2.4mm inside diameter conform to standard metric tubing fitting sizes used in pneumatic and fluid-transfer assemblies.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians depending on the system served. Depressurize and isolate the line before cutting or connecting tubing. Use a clean, square tube cut to ensure a proper seal at push-to-connect and compression fittings; a dedicated tubing cutter is recommended over a utility knife. Verify that all fittings and tubing materials are chemically compatible with the media being conveyed before placing the system in service.
