The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 700604SA is a brass push-to-connect swivel elbow fitting designed to join 3/8-inch push-in tube to a 1/4-inch female pipe thread (FPT) port. The swivel function on the FPT end allows the fitting to be torqued into a threaded port without twisting the tubing, which simplifies installation in tight or confined plumbing and pneumatic runs. Built to D.O.T. brass push-to-connect standards, this fitting is suited for compressed air, pneumatic control lines, and compatible fluid systems. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers working on service or new construction will find it a straightforward, tool-minimal connection.
The 700604SA is intended for applications where a 90-degree directional change is needed between a push-in tube line and a female-threaded port. Its D.O.T.-rated brass construction makes it appropriate for use in mobile equipment, compressed air systems, and light pneumatic circuits. The push-in end accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing and releases with standard collet-style tool-assist, while the swivel FPT end threads into a 1/4-inch NPT female port. Overall footprint measures approximately 0.9 inches in height, 1.3 inches in length, and 1.85 inches in width, making it compact enough for dense manifold or panel installations.
Designed as a D.O.T. brass push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/8-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch female NPT threaded ports in compressed air, pneumatic, or compatible fluid applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Thread the swivel FPT end into the female NPT port and tighten to a snug, leak-free seat using appropriate thread sealant compatible with the service medium. Insert tubing straight and fully into the push-in collet until seated, and verify retention by applying a firm pull before returning the system to pressure.
