The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 695302 is a D.O.T.-compliant 90-degree male elbow fitting designed for push-to-connect pneumatic tubing applications. One end accepts 5/32-inch OD tubing via a push-to-connect mechanism, while the other end terminates in a 1/16-27 male NPTF thread for a pressure-tight port connection. Constructed from forged brass, this fitting is rated to 150 psi and handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The compact body size of 0.13 inches makes it well suited for tight-space installations in air brake, pneumatic control, and fluid transfer assemblies. Plumbers, fleet technicians, and pneumatic system installers work with this fitting in both vehicle and industrial service contexts.
This elbow fitting is intended for use in D.O.T.-compliant air line and pneumatic control systems where a 90-degree direction change is required between a push-to-connect tubing run and a threaded port. Typical install scenarios include air brake lines, compressor outlets, and instrumentation panel connections where space constraints prevent a straight fitting or union. The push-to-connect end provides tool-free tube insertion, while the NPTF thread creates a dry-seal mechanical connection without requiring additional sealant tape in most applications. Body dimensions measure 0.75 inches by 0.59 inches center to end, and overall length is 1 inch.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect D.O.T. brass elbow for pneumatic systems requiring a 5/32-inch tubing connection to a 1/16-inch male NPTF threaded port.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with D.O.T. air line requirements and applicable pneumatic system codes. Depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect end until it seats against the internal collet, and confirm the NPTF thread is engaged to the correct thread engagement depth without cross-threading. Inspect the connection for leaks before returning the system to service.
