The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 65576 is a right and left malleable iron coupling designed for threaded piping systems where pipe sections must be connected or disconnected without rotating either pipe. Both ends accept 1-1/4 inch FPT connections with a 1-1/4-11-1/2 thread, allowing the fitting to draw two fixed pipes together by threading in opposite directions simultaneously. Rated for 150 lb pressure service and conforming to ANSI B16.3 dimensional standards, this coupling is appropriate for gas, steam, water, and other compatible fluid distribution systems in both residential and light commercial installations.
