The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 65462 is a malleable iron reducing coupling designed to connect two threaded pipe sections of different diameters in a single inline fitting. It transitions from a 2-1/2 inch female pipe thread (FPT) on one end to a 2 inch FPT on the other, making it a direct solution for reducing pipe size within a run. Rated at 150 lb pressure class and conforming to ANSI B 16.3 dimensional standards, this fitting handles operating temperatures from -20 degrees F to 350 degrees F. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in gas, air, water, and general industrial piping systems.

Installation Notes
