The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 64447 is a galvanized malleable iron reducing coupling designed to connect two threaded pipe sections of different diameters in a single inline fitting. It accepts a 1-1/2 in female pipe thread (FPT) on one end and a 1/2 in FPT on the other, allowing a step-down transition within a threaded piping run. Rated for 150 lb pressure service, it conforms to ANSI B 16.3 dimensional standards. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for exposed or moderately corrosive environments.
