The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 63104 is a 90-degree elbow fitting designed to redirect flow at a right angle within piping systems. Built from 316 stainless steel, it connects two 3/4-inch Female NPT ports and is rated for 150 lb pressure service. Threads conform to ASME B1.20.1 with a 3/4-14 thread specification. The 316 stainless alloy provides strong resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making it well suited for demanding fluid and gas service environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors typically install this fitting during new construction or system maintenance.
This elbow is rated for use with air, water, oil, natural gas, and steam, covering a wide range of residential and commercial mechanical systems. Typical applications include plumbing distribution lines, compressed air systems, hydronic heating loops, and gas supply piping. Its 150 lb pressure class places it squarely in standard-service piping where moderate pressure ratings are required. The compact body dimensions allow installation in tight spaces where routing a pipe through a 90-degree turn is necessary.
Designed as a standard 150 lb Class fitting for use in threaded piping systems carrying air, water, oil, natural gas, or steam where 3/4-inch Female NPT connections and 316 stainless steel construction are required.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local mechanical and plumbing codes, including IPC and IFGC where relevant. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads being engaged, following the sealant manufacturer's instructions for the specific fluid or gas service. Inspect threads on mating pipe or fittings for damage before assembly to ensure a proper seal.
