The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 35243CE is a cold-expansion PEX tee fitting manufactured from polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), a high-performance thermoplastic rated for both hot and cold water service. This tee provides a three-port branch connection for 3/4-inch cold-expansion PEX tubing runs. Cold-expansion PEX connections require an expansion tool to flare the tubing end before seating the fitting, then an expansion ring contracts over the fitting barb to form a leak-resistant joint. Licensed plumbers install this fitting in residential and light commercial potable water distribution and hydronic systems where PEX-a or compatible cold-expansion tubing is specified.

This tee is suited for new construction and retrofit applications in residential and light commercial plumbing where cold-expansion PEX distribution is used.
