The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 32350 is a brass reducing branch tee designed for hose barb connections in low-pressure fluid and gas distribution systems. It provides a three-way split with two 1/4-inch barbed ports and one 1/8-inch barbed port, making it suitable for applications where a branch line runs at a smaller diameter than the main run. Rated to 150 psi maximum operating pressure and functional across a temperature range of -40 to 160 degrees F, this fitting handles demanding service environments. The all-brass construction resists corrosion and suits potable water, fuel, air, and light chemical lines. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and equipment service professionals are the typical installers.
This tee is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever a hose barb branch connection is needed between lines of differing diameters. Common installations include fuel delivery systems, pneumatic controls, cooling loops, irrigation sub-runs, and HVAC condensate or refrigerant drain manifolds. The 1/8-27 thread designation applies to the body thread spec. It is intended for use with hose clamps, similar-type clamps, or crimped ferrules to secure hose ends. The compact body size of 0.44 inches and center-to-end dimension of 0.94 inches make this fitting practical in tight assemblies.
Designed for use with flexible hose secured by hose clamps, similar-type clamps, or crimped ferrules. Suitable as an OEM-style or replacement reducing branch tee in any hose barb assembly requiring a 1/4-inch by 1/4-inch by 1/8-inch three-way configuration.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the line fully before removing any existing fitting or inserting this tee. Push hose ends fully onto each barb past the last barb ridge before applying the clamp or ferrule to ensure a leak-free seal. Inspect hose ends for cuts or deformation before assembly, as damaged hose will not seat properly against the barb.
