The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 264X3 is a brass barstock compression tee fitting designed for use in fluid and pneumatic tubing systems. All three ports accept 3/16-inch compression connections, making this a true equal-tee configuration. The fitting is machined from solid brass barstock, which provides dense material integrity and resistance to leakage at rated pressure. It carries a maximum working pressure of 400 psi and an operating temperature range of -65 to 250 degrees F. With a compact body size of 0.38 inches and a center-to-end dimension of 0.6 inches, it fits in tight plumbing and instrumentation layouts. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics are the typical installers.
This compression tee is suited for residential and light commercial applications where copper, aluminum, or thermoplastic tubing must be split or joined at a branch point. Common install scenarios include refrigeration sensing lines, pneumatic control circuits, fuel delivery tubing, and hydraulic instrumentation runs. The 3/8-24 thread specification on this fitting is consistent with standard compression sleeve and nut assemblies used across these tubing types. No soldering, brazing, or specialized tooling beyond a wrench is required to complete the connection.
Designed for use with copper, aluminum, and thermoplastic tubing using standard 3/16-inch compression sleeves and nuts in fluid, pneumatic, and instrumentation system applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the tubing circuit completely before disassembling or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then snug with a wrench - do not overtighten, as excess torque can deform the compression sleeve and cause leaks. Verify all connections are leak-free under system pressure before returning the circuit to service.
