The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 22010-100 is a brass compression sleeve insert designed to reinforce soft tubing at compression fittings. It slides inside the end of the tubing to prevent collapse when the compression nut and ferrule are tightened. This type of insert is a standard component in low-pressure fluid and gas lines across HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration applications. The 22010-100 measures 0.5 inches in length with an outside diameter of 0.163 inches and a wall thickness of 0.04 inches. It is rated to 300 psi and handles temperatures from -65 to 250 degrees F. Installation Notes
