The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20834C is a composite-body swivel run tee designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid-control tubing systems. It provides a tee configuration with two 1/4-inch push-to-connect ports on the run and a 10-32 UNF male swivel connection on the branch. The positional swivel on the branch port allows the fitting to be rotated and locked into the optimal angle after installation, reducing stress on connected tubing and instrumentation. Rated to 150 psi and suitable for service from 32 to 140 degrees F, this fitting is well suited for low-pressure air, instrument air, and compatible fluid lines. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation installers use this style of fitting where a compact inline tee with a threaded port is required.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where push-to-connect tubing meets a threaded instrument or control device port. Typical scenarios include HVAC control panel pneumatic circuits, condensate sensing lines, and instrument tubing manifolds where 1/4-inch OD tubing must branch to a 10-32 UNF threaded port. The composite body keeps weight low and resists corrosion in humid or wet service environments. The push-to-connect ends accept and release tubing without additional tooling, speeding up connections during panel assembly or field service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for push-to-connect composite body pneumatic and fluid-control tubing systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing and 10-32 UNF threaded ports.
Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians or instrumentation technicians. Depressurize and isolate the line before disconnecting or installing push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely before insertion into the push-to-connect ports for a proper seal. Do not exceed the rated 150 psi working pressure or the 32 to 140 degrees F temperature limits in service.
