The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20797C4M5 is a metered-out right angle flow control valve designed for precise unidirectional flow regulation in pneumatic systems. It features a 4 mm x M5 nominal connection with a push-to-connect inlet and a male BSPT outlet. The composite polyacetal body keeps weight low at 0.015 pounds while maintaining a working pressure rating of 150 psi and a burst pressure of 340 psi. An NBR 70 elastomer seal provides reliable air and fluid compatibility. This valve is installed by pneumatic system technicians, automation specialists, and fluid power mechanics working on compact metric plumbing circuits.
This flow control valve is suited for use in compressed air and compatible fluid circuits where metered-out speed control is required. The right angle configuration makes it practical in tight panel or manifold installations where inline fittings cannot clear adjacent components. Its metric 4 mm tube size and M5 male BSPT thread make it a direct fit for metric pneumatic circuits commonly found in industrial automation, machine building, and process equipment. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion during assembly or servicing.
Designed for use in metric pneumatic circuits accepting 4 mm OD push-to-connect tubing and M5 male BSPT threaded ports, typical of compact industrial automation and fluid power applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or fluid power technician. Depressurize and isolate the circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the BSPT male thread into the receiving port first, then apply wrench torque only as needed to seat the sealant threads without over-stressing the composite body. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect collet until it bottoms out, then verify retention by pulling back firmly before returning the system to pressure.
