The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20787C is a metered-out right angle flow control valve designed to regulate exhaust airflow in pneumatic and fluid control systems. It features a composite body rated to 150 psi working pressure and a 340 psi burst pressure, with an NBR seal for reliable media compatibility. The push-to-connect inlet paired with a male NPT outlet allows for fast, tool-free tube insertion on one end and a threaded pipe connection on the other. The right angle orientation suits tight installation spaces where inline fittings will not fit. Licensed plumbing and pneumatic technicians install this valve in both compressed air lines and compatible fluid circuits.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control applications, including compressed air distribution, automation panels, and equipment requiring controlled exhaust metering. The 3/8-inch push-to-connect port accepts standard tubing, while the 1/4-inch male NPT end threads directly into manifolds, actuators, or control valves. Its operating temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees F makes it appropriate for indoor mechanical environments. Domestic manufacture supports procurement requirements where country of origin matters.
Designed for use in push-to-connect composite body pneumatic and fluid systems accepting 3/8-inch OD tubing with a 1/4-inch male NPT threaded port connection. Admits air and fluid as noted in manufacturer documentation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or plumbing technician. Depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Thread the male NPT end into the receiving port by hand first, then tighten to the fitting manufacturer recommendation without over-torquing composite components. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect port until it seats against the gripper ring, then tug gently to confirm retention before repressurizing.
