The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20785C46 is a metered-out right angle flow control valve designed to regulate airflow or fluid flow in pneumatic and fluid line systems. Built with a composite polyacetal body, this valve connects via push-to-connect on one end and male NPT on the other, with a nominal size of 1/4 x 3/8 inches. It is rated for working pressures up to 150 psi and a burst pressure of 340 psi, with an operating temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees F. The NBR 70 seal and stainless steel gripper ring provide reliable sealing and tube retention. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians in both residential and light commercial applications.
The 20785C46 is suited for use in compressed air lines, fluid control circuits, and pneumatic actuator systems where metered-out flow control is required at a right angle change of direction. The push-to-connect end accepts tubing for tool-free insertion, while the male NPT end threads directly into ports on valves, manifolds, cylinders, and similar components. Both air and fluid media are admitted, making this valve adaptable across a range of light-duty pneumatic and hydraulic plumbing applications in industrial and commercial settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid line systems using 1/4-inch tubing with a 3/8-inch male NPT port connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before inserting into the push-to-connect end, and verify the male NPT threads are properly sealed per applicable installation standards. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 150 psi or operate outside the 32 to 140 degrees F temperature range.
