The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20755P is a plastic reducing union fitting designed to connect two different tube sizes in a push-in configuration. It transitions from a 3/8 inch push-in tube on one end to a 1/4 inch push-in tube on the other, allowing quick, tool-free connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling lines. Constructed from gray plastic, this fitting is rated for pressures from 100 to 230 psi and temperatures from 34 degrees F to 150 degrees F. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting where tubing size reductions are required without threaded connections.
The 20755P is suited for use in compressed air lines, gas distribution, and vacuum systems in both residential and light commercial applications. Its push-in design speeds up installation in tight spaces where threading or soldering is not practical. Typical install scenarios include control line plumbing, instrument tubing runs, and pneumatic actuator circuits where a quick-connect reducing transition is needed.
Designed for use with air, gas, and vacuum lines using 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch push-in tubing. Suitable for pneumatic control circuits and instrumentation plumbing in residential and light commercial systems.
This fitting is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system technicians. Always depressurize and isolate the line before removing or installing push-in fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely to achieve a proper seal. Verify that media type and operating pressure are within the rated limits of the fitting before returning the system to service.
