The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20718 is a composite swivel male branch tee designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid distribution lines. It creates a branch point in a run line using two 14 mm push-to-connect ports and a 3/8 in male global thread swivel outlet. The positional swivel on the male thread end allows the fitting to be rotated after installation, simplifying routing in tight or angled installations. Rated to 150 psi and suitable for operating temperatures from 32 to 140 degrees F, this fitting suits compressed air, light fluid, and instrumentation tubing applications. Installation requires no tools on the push-to-connect ends. Licensed plumbing and pneumatic technicians commonly specify this type of fitting in manifold and distribution assemblies.
This fitting is used in pneumatic control panels, compressed air distribution networks, and fluid line branch configurations where a metric tube run must transition to a threaded outlet. The global thread swivel connection accommodates various port orientations without requiring the body to be repositioned. It is well suited for industrial automation, HVAC controls, and light-duty pneumatic instrumentation where 14 mm tubing is the standard line size. The composite body keeps weight low and resists corrosion in moderate-duty environments.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect branch fitting for pneumatic and fluid distribution systems using 14 mm metric tubing and 3/8 in male global thread ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid line assemblies. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Push-to-connect ends require clean, square-cut tubing inserted fully to the depth stop for a reliable seal. The swivel outlet should be torqued to the port per the equipment manufacturer specification and thread sealant compatible with the system media should be applied as required.
