The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20322 is a brass male branch tee fitting designed for flareless compression-style tube connections. It joins two 3/8 inch tube OD runs to a 1/8 inch male NPTF threaded port, making it a compact solution for splitting or tapping a fluid line without requiring flared tube ends. Rated to 150 psi and suitable for operating temperatures from -40 to 150 degrees F, this fitting is well suited for low-pressure instrumentation, pneumatic, and fuel lines where reliable, leak-resistant joints are required. The all-brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability under continuous service conditions.
This branch tee is intended for use with aluminum and copper tubing in residential, commercial, and light industrial plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation applications. Its flareless design makes it appropriate for panel-mounted or inline installations where a threaded male port is needed on the branch leg. The 1/8 inch MNPTF thread on the branch outlet connects directly to female NPT ports on gauges, sensors, valves, or secondary lines. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation installers working with small-diameter tubing will find this fitting straightforward to install in tight spaces.
Designed for use with aluminum and copper tubing having a 3/8 inch outside diameter. The 1/8 inch MNPTF branch port is compatible with standard female NPT fittings and ports.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician following applicable codes including IPC and IFGC where relevant. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any existing fittings or installing this branch tee. Use appropriate tube inserts if required by the tubing material to prevent compression sleeve collapse. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits of the fitting.
