The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20121C is a composite-body swivel male branch tee designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid line assemblies. It combines two 1/4-inch push-to-connect ports with a 3/8-inch male NPT swivel outlet, allowing branch connections without the need for tools on the push-to-connect ends. The positional swivel feature on the NPT port lets technicians orient the fitting to clear obstructions or align tubing runs after installation. Rated to 150 psi with an operating temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees F, this fitting is suited for compressed air and compatible fluid systems where a compact branch point is required.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where push-to-connect tubing must branch off a threaded male port. Typical install scenarios include pneumatic control lines, refrigeration accessory tubing, and similar low-pressure distribution networks. The composite body keeps weight low at 0.05 pounds and resists corrosion in environments where brass alone may be less desirable. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general mechanical contractors working with 1/4-inch OD tubing and 3/8-18 NPT threaded ports are the primary installers.
Designed as an OEM-style branch tee for systems using 1/4-inch OD push-to-connect tubing and 3/8-inch male NPT threaded ports in compressed air or compatible low-pressure fluid distribution applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid piping systems. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before installing or removing any fitting. Push-to-connect ports require clean, burr-free tubing cut square for a proper seal; inspect tubing ends before insertion. Verify that the NPT swivel port is tightened to the mating fitting before pressurizing the system, and check all connections for leaks after restoring pressure.
