The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20109 is a brass swivel male branch tee fitting designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid tubing assemblies. It provides a three-way split from a single line, with two 5/32-inch push-to-connect ports and one 1/8-inch male NPT swivel port. The positional swivel feature on the NPT connection allows the fitting to be oriented to a preferred angle after installation without requiring full disassembly. Constructed from brass, the 20109 handles a temperature range of -10 to 200 degrees F. The compact body measures 1.61 inches in length and weighs approximately 0.055 pounds, making it suited for tight plumbing and instrumentation runs. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation installers work with this fitting type in both residential and light commercial applications.
This fitting is used in compressed air, pneumatic control, and low-pressure fluid distribution systems where a main tubing run must branch off to a secondary line while also connecting to a threaded port on a valve, manifold, or sensor. The push-to-connect ends accept standard 5/32-inch OD tubing for quick, tool-free insertion. The 1/8-inch NPT swivel connection threads into a fixed port on equipment, and the positional swivel body then rotates to align tubing runs cleanly. It is well suited for panel-mounted instrumentation, HVAC control circuits, and pneumatic actuator lines where routing space is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style brass push-to-connect branch tee for use with 5/32-inch OD tubing systems requiring a 1/8-inch male NPT swivel branch connection in pneumatic and low-pressure fluid assemblies.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before installing or removing any push-to-connect fitting. Thread the 1/8-inch NPT swivel end into the receiving port by hand first, then use a wrench on the 0.37-inch hex to snug the connection - avoid over-tightening brass threads. Insert tubing into each push-to-connect port until it seats fully, then confirm retention with a light pull-back. Follow applicable plumbing or instrumentation codes for the system type and medium being conveyed.
