The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20107NIC is a nickel-plated brass swivel branch tee designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. It provides a three-port junction with two 3/8-inch push-to-connect ports and one 1/4-inch male NPT swivel port, allowing the NPT connection to be repositioned after installation without loosening the line. The nickel collet construction delivers secure tube retention and corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. This fitting is suited for plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications where quick, tool-free tube connections are required alongside a swiveling male NPT takeoff.
The 20107NIC is used in residential and light commercial systems where copper, nylon, or polyethylene tubing must be branched and a male NPT swivel outlet is needed for a fixed component connection. Common install scenarios include compressed air distribution panels, refrigerant-free fluid circuits, and hydronic accessory lines. The positional swivel feature makes it especially practical in tight cabinets or equipment enclosures where fixed-angle fittings would be difficult to orient correctly. A licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified pipefitter would typically install this fitting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for push-to-connect systems using 3/8-inch tubing with a 1/4-inch male NPT swivel branch connection in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial fluid or pneumatic circuits.
Depressurize and drain the system completely before installing or removing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely and that all burrs are removed before insertion to achieve a proper seal. The swivel NPT port should be tightened to its mating female thread using appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape per applicable plumbing or mechanical codes before adjusting the swivel orientation. A licensed plumber or qualified technician should verify that tubing material and system pressure ratings are compatible with this fitting before installation.
