The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20100 is a forged brass fixed male run tee designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. It joins two push-to-connect lines on the run while branching to a male NPT threaded port, allowing a straight-through flow path with a side outlet for instrument or equipment connections. Port 1 and Port 3 accept 3/8-inch push-to-connect tubing, and Port 2 is a 1/4-inch male NPT thread using a 1/4-18 thread standard. The body size is 1/2 inch, and the fitting is rated for service from -10 to 200 degrees F. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a brass push-to-connect branch connection is needed inline on a 3/8-inch tubing run. Common install scenarios include refrigeration tubing headers, pneumatic control lines, compressed air distribution panels, and HVAC equipment connections that require a fixed male NPT tap point along the main run without breaking the line. The forged brass construction makes it appropriate for use with air, water, and compatible refrigerants within the rated temperature range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for brass push-to-connect systems using 3/8-inch OD tubing on the run ports and 1/4-inch male NPT threaded connections on the branch port.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician following applicable local codes and IFGC or IPC guidelines where relevant. Depressurize and isolate the system before making or breaking any connections. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before inserting into push-to-connect ports to achieve a proper seal. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the male NPT port per manufacturer and code requirements before threading onto mating fittings.
