The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20087N is a 90-degree swivel male elbow fitting designed for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid-handling applications. It transitions a 3/8-inch push-to-connect port to a 1/8-inch male global thread swivel connection, allowing for directional changes in tubing runs without additional adapters. Constructed from brass with a nickel-plated finish, the fitting is rated to 290 psi and operates across a temperature range of -4 to 176 degrees F. The swivel end allows for rotational adjustment during installation, reducing torque stress on connected tubing. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers work with this fitting in both residential and light commercial applications.
This elbow is suited for compressed air lines, pneumatic control systems, and fluid distribution circuits where a 90-degree change of direction is required at a male threaded port. The push-to-connect end accepts standard tubing for tool-free insertion, making it appropriate for service work or new installations where speed and reliability matter. Its compact envelope and swivel function make it useful in tight spaces where fixed fittings would be difficult to torque without stressing adjacent components.
Designed for use in push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid-handling systems requiring a 90-degree transition from 3/8-inch OD tubing to a 1/8-inch male global thread swivel port. Center-to-end dimensions are 1.04 x 1.02 inches.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Use a wrench on the 0.51-inch hex flats to seat the threaded end; do not grip the fitting body. Verify tubing is cut cleanly and squared before insertion into the push-to-connect port to ensure a proper seal.
