The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20057NIC is a nickel-plated brass male adapter designed to transition a 3/8-inch push-to-connect line to a 1/8-inch male NPT threaded port. The fitting features a nickel collet that grips tubing securely without tools, making connections fast and reliable in tight spaces. The nickel-plated brass construction resists corrosion and holds up in demanding service environments. With a 1/8-27 thread standard on the NPT end, this adapter seats properly into standard threaded ports. It is suited for plumbing, pneumatic, and fluid-transfer applications where a quick push-connect termination to a threaded body is required. Licensed tradespeople and experienced installers handle this type of fitting in both residential and light commercial work.
This adapter is used in systems where copper, nylon, or polyethylene tubing must terminate at a threaded fitting body. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, compressed air distribution, water supply connections, and instrument tubing. The push-to-connect end accepts 3/8-inch OD tubing, and the male NPT end threads directly into a female 1/8-inch NPT port on valves, manifolds, gauges, or equipment bodies. It is compact enough for panel-mounted or in-line use where space is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect male adapter for use with 3/8-inch OD tubing in systems equipped with 1/8-inch female NPT threaded ports.
Depressurize and isolate the system before installing or removing this fitting. Verify that tubing OD is clean, cut square, and free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect end. Thread the NPT end by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench - do not overtighten, as this can crack the fitting body. Inspect for leaks after restoring system pressure, per applicable plumbing or pneumatic code requirements.
