The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20054NA is a nickel-plated brass male adapter designed to transition between a 1/4-inch push-to-connect fitting and a 1/8-inch male global thread connection. This compact fitting provides a secure, leak-resistant joint without the need for thread sealant on the push-to-connect side. It is rated for 290 psi working pressure and handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 176 degrees F, making it suitable for a range of pneumatic, instrumentation, and fluid-transfer applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation installers use this adapter when connecting tubing runs to threaded ports on valves, sensors, or manifolds.
This adapter is commonly installed in residential and light commercial systems where 1/4-inch tubing must terminate at a 1/8-inch male threaded port. Typical applications include compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, refrigeration sensing lines, and general fluid distribution where push-to-connect convenience is required on one end and a global-thread male connection is required on the other. The nickel plating adds corrosion resistance in environments with moderate moisture exposure.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect male adapter for use in pneumatic, HVAC control, and fluid-distribution systems requiring a 1/4-inch push-to-connect by 1/8-inch male global thread transition.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the line before installing or removing this fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male global thread end per standard practice before tightening; use the hex flats and an appropriately sized wrench to avoid over-torquing the brass body. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and fully seated in the push-to-connect end before pressurizing the system.
