The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 20052 is a brass push-to-connect male adapter designed to transition a 3/16-inch push-to-connect tube connection to a 1/8-inch male NPT threaded port. This compact fitting measures 0.93 inches in length with a 0.43-inch hex and carries a 1/8-27 NPT thread specification. It is rated for service from -10 to 200 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid and pneumatic applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers commonly use this fitting to connect small-diameter tubing to threaded equipment ports without soldering or flare tools.
This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial applications where small-bore tubing meets a threaded fitting port. Typical install scenarios include condensate drain systems, pneumatic control lines, compressed air equipment, and similar low-pressure fluid or air circuits. The push-to-connect end accepts 3/16-inch OD tubing for a tool-free, secure connection, while the male NPT end threads directly into a valve body, manifold, or equipment port.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/16-inch OD push-to-connect tubing with 1/8-inch male NPT ported equipment or valves.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system before installing or removing any fittings. Apply thread sealant tape or paste to the male NPT threads before engagement and tighten with a wrench on the hex flat. Insert tubing into the push-to-connect end until fully seated; to remove, depress the release collar while pulling the tube straight out.
