The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 18095 is a brass compression bulkhead nut designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection through panels, bulkheads, or enclosure walls. Sized for 3/16-inch compression tubing, it features a 3/8-24 thread size and carries a maximum working pressure rating of 400 psi. The brass construction offers solid corrosion resistance and mechanical durability, making it well suited for use across a broad temperature range of -65 to 250 degrees F. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration technicians commonly install this fitting where tubing must pass cleanly and securely through a partition.
This bulkhead nut is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications involving copper, brass, or compatible nylon tubing routed through cabinet walls, equipment panels, or manifold enclosures. Typical uses include fuel lines, refrigeration tubing runs, pneumatic control lines, and other fluid or gas distribution systems that require a panel-mounted compression termination point. It accepts 3/16-inch OD tubing and uses standard compression ferrule sealing - no soldering or flaring required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation compression bulkhead nut for 3/16-inch OD tubing applications in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and pneumatic systems where a panel-mounted fitting is required.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC-R technician. Ensure all system pressure is relieved and the line is depressurized before disassembly or fitting installation. Use two wrenches when tightening to avoid twisting the tubing - one to hold the body and one to turn the nut. Do not overtighten compression fittings; snug plus a quarter turn past hand-tight is the standard practice for compression connections.
