The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 10432 is a forged brass branch tee fitting designed for use in hydraulic and fluid systems requiring reliable, leak-free connections at SAE 45-degree flare joints. The fitting provides two 3/8-inch SAE 45-degree male flared connections and one 1/2-inch female iron pipe (FIP) connection, making it a standard three-way branch configuration. Rated to 1000 psi and suitable for temperatures ranging from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding service environments. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system installers working with flared tubing assemblies will find this a direct-fit solution in both new installation and retrofit applications.
The 10432 is designed for use with aluminum, brass, copper, and steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared to SAE 45-degree specifications. It is commonly installed in fuel, oil, refrigerant, and hydraulic line assemblies where a branch takeoff from a main line is required. The 5/8-18 by 1/2-14 thread specification ensures compatibility with standard SAE and IPS threaded components. With a minimum tube wall thickness requirement of 0.032 inches, this fitting is suited for light to medium-wall hydraulic tubing in both residential and light commercial applications.
Designed for use with aluminum, brass, copper, and steel hydraulic tubing that meets SAE 45-degree flare requirements and a minimum tube wall thickness of 0.032 inches.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified hydraulic technician familiar with flare fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Use appropriate flaring tools to ensure tube ends meet SAE 45-degree flare geometry before assembly. Do not overtighten flare nuts, as this can deform the flare seat and cause leaks; follow applicable IPC or system manufacturer torque guidelines where specified.
