The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 10361 is a forged brass run tee designed for use in hydraulic and fluid-transfer line assemblies requiring SAE 45-degree flared connections. The fitting provides three ports: a 3/16-inch Male SAE 45 Deg Flared inlet, a 1/8-inch Male NPTF branch port, and a 5/16-inch Male SAE 45 Deg Flared outlet. Threaded at 3/8-24 and 5/16-24, this tee handles operating pressures from 1000 to 2800 psi and temperatures from -65 to 250 degrees F. The forged brass construction provides strength and corrosion resistance suited to refrigeration, fuel, and hydraulic plumbing work performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-systems mechanics.
This run tee is intended for use with copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing. Its compact geometry - 0.87 inches center-to-end on one axis, 0.78 inches on a second, and 0.97 inches on the third - makes it practical in tight equipment panels or under-chassis installations. Typical applications include refrigerant line branching, hydraulic circuit tees, fuel system plumbing, and other medium-pressure fluid lines where SAE 45-degree flare connections are specified by the system design.
Designed for use with copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing in systems specifying SAE 45-degree flare fittings at the stated port sizes and pressure ratings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or hydraulic systems mechanic following applicable codes and manufacturer guidelines. Depressurize and drain the line fully before removing or installing any fitting. Use a calibrated flaring tool to ensure proper 45-degree flare seat geometry on mating tubing ends - a poor flare seat is a common cause of leaks at these connections. Do not over-torque the threaded connections; refer to applicable SAE or system specifications for proper assembly torque.
