The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES 10305 is a forged brass 90-degree elbow fitting designed for hydraulic and refrigeration line connections. It transitions from a 3/4-inch male SAE 45-degree flare on one end to a 1/2-inch male NPTF thread on the other. The forged brass construction provides reliable sealing and durability under pressure. Rated to 550 psi with a service temperature range of -65 to 250 degrees F, this elbow suits demanding fluid-system applications. The 1-1/16-14 x 1/2-14 thread specifications and 0.035-inch tube wall requirement make it a precise fit for properly sized hydraulic tubing assemblies.
This fitting is intended for use with copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing in mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. The 90-degree angle allows directional changes in tight plumbing layouts where a straight fitting will not route correctly. With a 0.88-inch body size and center-to-end dimensions of 1.67 x 1.5 inches, it fits compact manifold and panel installations. Plumbers, hydraulic technicians, and refrigeration mechanics working on OEM or aftermarket fluid-system builds will find this fitting suited to standard SAE 45-degree flare assemblies.
Designed for use with copper, brass, aluminum, and steel hydraulic tubing. Requires tubing with a 0.035-inch minimum wall thickness and 3/4-inch SAE 45-degree flare preparation on the flare-end connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic or plumbing technician. Depressurize and drain the hydraulic system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect tubing flare for proper 45-degree seat angle and confirm tubing wall thickness meets the 0.035-inch specification before assembly. Do not overtighten NPTF threads - apply an appropriate thread sealant and follow standard torque practices for brass fittings per applicable system design specifications.
