The MICRO 100 IT-160400 is a solid carbide single point internal threading tool designed for cutting internal threads on CNC lathes and turning centers. It covers a threading range of 27 to 56 threads per inch (TPI) with a minimum thread diameter of 0.16 inches and a cutting depth of 0.4 inches. The 60-degree profile angle suits standard Unified and metric thread forms commonly encountered in precision machining. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this tool in boring bar-style setups where a compact shank is required for small-bore internal thread work. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for use with a wide range of workpiece materials.
