The MICRO 100 ER11-250 is an ER11-series collet sized for 0.25-inch shank tooling, designed for use in ER11 collet chucks on CNC mills, lathes, and toolroom machines. With a Total Indicator Runout (TIR) of 0.0004 inches, this collet delivers the concentricity required for precision cutting, drilling, and finishing operations. The compact ER11 form factor suits smaller spindles and high-speed applications where accurate tool holding directly affects surface finish and tool life. This collet is installed by machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians.
The ER11-250 is suited for light-duty to medium-duty machining applications where a 0.25-inch tool shank must be held securely in an ER11-compatible chuck. Typical uses include CNC routing, engraving, small-part milling, and drilling on machines equipped with ER11 spindle tooling. Through-coolant is not supported by this collet. It is a single-piece unit sold individually.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or addition for any machine spindle or chuck that accepts the ER11 collet standard.
ER collets are installed and removed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician using the appropriate ER11 collet nut and spanner wrench. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips or debris before seating the collet. Do not exceed the collet clamping range or overtighten the collet nut, as this can damage the collet and reduce runout performance.
