The MICRO 100 ER11-156 is an ER11-series collet sized at 0.1562 inches (5/32 inch) for use in ER11 collet chucks on CNC machining centers, milling machines, and high-speed spindles. It delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0004 inches, providing the concentricity needed for precision toolholding in light milling, drilling, and engraving operations. Weighing 0.08 pounds, this collet is a compact, single-piece holding solution designed for machinists and toolroom technicians working with small-diameter tooling where accuracy is critical.
This collet is suited for use in residential and commercial machine shop environments, as well as production and toolroom settings where ER11 chuck systems are already in service. It is a practical fit for applications involving small end mills, drills, reamers, or engraving bits with a 5/32-inch shank. No through-coolant feature is present, making it appropriate for dry or flood-coolant operations where internal coolant delivery is not required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard addition for ER11 collet chuck systems used in CNC and manual spindle applications.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before inserting or removing a collet, ensure the spindle is fully stopped and all power to the machine is off. Use the appropriate ER11 collet nut and chuck wrench to seat and torque the collet correctly per the machine manufacturer's guidelines. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for debris or damage before each use to maintain concentricity and tool life.
