The MICRO 100 ER08-125 is an ER08-series collet designed for precision tool holding in CNC machining and manual milling applications. Sized to accept 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) shank tooling, this collet provides consistent, repeatable grip with a Total Indicated Runout (TIR) of 0.0004 inches. That tight TIR tolerance is critical for maintaining accuracy in small-diameter end milling, drilling, and reaming operations. Machining professionals and toolroom technicians install this collet into compatible ER08 collet chucks to secure cutting tools during production runs where dimensional consistency matters.

This collet is suited for light-duty precision machining in both job-shop and production environments. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Seat the collet fully into the ER08 nut before threading onto the chuck body, and torque the nut with an appropriate ER collet wrench - do not use adjustable or improvised wrenches, as uneven clamping will affect TIR. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips or debris before each use.
