The MICRO 100 CRE-625-250 is a double-ended corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges. Machined from solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and rigidity needed for accurate edge radiusing on steel, aluminum, and similar materials. The tool runs a 0.25 inch corner radius and a 0.625 inch mill diameter, with a tip diameter of 0.120 inches. Three flutes provide a balance of chip clearance and surface finish quality. The double-end configuration extends tool life by offering two usable cutting ends per unit. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in production and job-shop environments.
The CRE-625-250 is suited for vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines where edge radiusing is required. It is commonly used in applications that call for a clean, repeatable convex radius on part edges, replacing secondary deburring or filing operations. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle configurations. The 0.625 inch shank diameter fits standard toolholders and collet chucks sized for that bore. It is appropriate for light to moderate material removal in edge-profiling passes.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC and manual milling setups requiring a 0.625 inch shank, right-hand cut, three-flute corner rounding end mill in the MICRO 100 Corner Rounding End Mills 3 Flute Double-Ended series.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before loading or changing tooling. Seat the 0.625 inch shank fully in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder and torque the retention hardware per the machine manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout after installation before beginning any cutting operation.
